I just spent a bit of time browsing around the web.
And I have to say, it is like weaving through a derailed train that has flung all of the baggage willy-nilly over a huge radius.
Almost no point in trying to collect and sort any of it though, for there are more trains that have yet to reach this location, and they are on the way.
I’m not trying to sound gloomy here; I actually sit back and take in a bit of it all with a slight amusement.
What else can you really do?
My motto is a bit like, “when the going gets tough, the tough crack jokes”.
In this walk, as far as I am concerned, a sense of humor is mandatory.
Oh, I feel the pain of it all, there is no escaping that.
I have my own personal stuff to deal with, and I’m an empath, so I get to feel everyone else’s too.
Yet, I am not keen to sitting in pain of any sort, so I flip it up, and I find the humor, and let me tell you, no matter how bleak it looks or feels, there is always something humorous somewhere to be found.
My personal train is still on the tracks.
I intend to keep it that way. Have a lot of derailments occurring all around me, but I am weaving through.
I personally have had enough of my fair share of derailments in my personal life, and there is no way I am turning over my conductor’s hat to anyone else.
I am going to steer this train, for ‘better or worse’.

So I am browsing across the net, and I am hearing a narrative voice that sounds like those in Amtrak commercials:
“If you would kindly look to your left..coming up over this pass we have the perfect example of Saturn meeting Pluto. Please observe the outcome carefully. You may wish to take notes as to how not to respond in this situation presenting”.
“If you would kindly shift to your right, you will now see approaching a fine demonstration of Saturn and Uranus waltzing, this has been a marathon dance event folks, and we encourage you to seek your refreshments now, before we join the next scheduled performance.”
“Over to the left once again, we have a fine view of Mars hanging out with Leo. These two big boys are really having a blast, and getting along quite fine, but soon they may have had a bit too much of the cheer in their cups, and hopefully will sleep peacefully until Spring, yet we will have to wait to see how this meet-up goes.”
“As we are now travelling over the River Pisces, you may wish to take a moment to observe our passing of Uranus as he is still napping from his previous strenuous swim. He shall soon awake though, and it will not be long before he finishes his swim through the River Pisces, and one again walks upon the shores of Aries.”
“Speaking of the shores of Aries, soon after the arrival of Uranus, Jupiter, in June, will be stopping by for a short stroll. We are expecting some rip roaring fun then! You may wish to consider planning your route of travel now, and decide which tracks you may wish to switch to when you meet these two at the conjunction.”
“And last, but by no means least, we are now able to glimpse just off to the right, if you raise yourself just a bit in your seats, a fabulous view of the upcoming Cardinal T-Cross..well, isn’t he a beauty??”. Next July will be the perfect time for getting a first- hand up-close look at this performance. Please remember to purchase your tickets now, as the best seats are selling out quickly”.

So here we are now, with trains derailing all around us, and we are each bobbing and weaving through the baggage and cars strewn about.
As I mentioned earlier, I intend to see my train through this course, and my train is fully packed with cargo, all of it precious to me.
I have a few passengers too, and I intend to see them safely through to their destination, as I chose to take them onboard.
I don’t believe anyone MUST experience a derailment, not as long as you remember your conductor skills at all the right places.
A quick refresher:
(1) Don’t blow that whistle, at any of the wrong places. Definitely do not be blowing that whistle, just for something to do.
(2) Keep your hands on the gears. Keep it loose, don’t tighten up that grip. Be prepared to down shift when necessary, or conversely, to speed it up.
(3) Keep your eyes straight ahead and focused on the track you are on. Don’t be tempted to take in the view around you when you come upon a derailment. Slow and steady so as not to cause more damage, but keep it moving. You have your own cargo to be responsible for. Take it seriously.
(4) If you should happen to feel generous when passing a derailed train, and wish to offer a lift, offer your rules (boundaries) to possible boarders, right up front. If the passenger(s) aren’t interested in following your rules, move on. Maybe another train will pick them up that they are more aligned and comfortable with the “Rules of Riding”. Or, possibly they’ll get their own train back on the tracks.
(5) And lastly, crank up the volume on your tunes..and have some fun while driving, this is no short trip!
I leave you with this and am off to steer through some rather interesting, and yet unknown, area’s ahead. 🙂
