On March 29th, 2010 @ 10:26 pm EST we have our next Full Moon event at 9° 17′ Libra/Aries.
Where a Full Moon falls in our charts is where we are gifted the opportunity of becoming Conscious (Sun) of that which has been Unconscious (Moon), as during a Full Moon, the Sun shines directly upon the Moon eliminating all shadows.
As this is the first Full Moon to occur after the arrival of the Vernal Equinox and Mars turning direct and this Moon occurs in the sign of Libra where Saturn has been bringing forth lessons concerning relationships for the past 5 months, this is a significant event and will have effect of note for everyone, not only those with natal points directly aspected by the Full Moon due to Saturn’s transit of Libra being a collective influence.
This Libra/Aries lunation is a continuation of the previous New Moon in Pisces where we were brought to the threshold of new beginnings and possibly found ourselves needing to bless and release any factors in our life that were preventing our moving forward into a new form of expression. The Pisces Moon graced us with a broader awareness as to why a parting of ways with certain people and certain forms (both of the material variety and non-material variety) was of necessity before taking our next steps upon our path.
We now find ourselves focused within the Aries/Libra axis where Aries is concerned with the “I” principle and Libra is concerned with the “WE” principle.

Aries urges us to be enterprising individuals and to courageously put our self forward into our endeavors by infusing our personal energy into new forms. Aries encourages our trusting of our capability to begin something on our own. When expressing our Aries energy positively we are gifted the support of Mars (the ruler of Aries) and hence are propelled into pioneering projects with enthusiasm and self assurance, free of self-limiting beliefs that we need any other(s), to preform that which we are capable of doing in a solo capacity.
Libra urges us to be in harmony with others and to recognize that the true beauty of harmonious relationships is when we come to understand that through balanced relationships no one is the manipulator nor the manipulated hence the value of that which is shared and enjoyed by 2 or more is magnified exponentially. When we walk our path, and are neither manipulating of others nor allowing ourselves to be manipulated by any other(s) in striving to achieve our objectives, we are able to demonstrate the higher attributes of Venus(the ruler of Libra) by opening our hearts and personal assets (material and otherwise) without the fear of being left bereft in some manner.
This lunation offers insight into how well we are functioning into bringing into balance our inner and outer worlds as to reflect the highest possible positive functions of the I/We Principle.

In considering the chart for this Full Moon we find the Sun in Aries forming a square to Pluto/Capricorn. Also in aspect to the Sun is Saturn in Libra in a wide orb opposition and Mars in Leo in trine. While the trine of Sun/Mars is of a wider orb, due to the mutual reception of the Sun and Mars taking residence in the other’s sign of rulership this aspect is of influence nonetheless.
The Moon in Libra is in a wide conjunction to Saturn and forms a square to Pluto/Capricorn. Though the Moon is not directly aspected by Mars, as it is out of traditionally allowable orbs for a sextile, due to the longer duration we have had of Saturn and Mars being in sextile I feel that the Mars influence in regards to the Moon should not be discounted.
I see this Libra Full Moon offering the potential to now effectively measure one’s own desires for new developments within our Aries sectors of influence in correlation to the function or dysfunction of our Libra sectors.
We now find we are being asked to evaluate if the company we are keeping is supportive of our new objectives and if we, in turn, are in support of theirs.
With a frictional square formed from Pluto in Capricorn to the opposing Libra Moon and Aries Sun, and with the Sun-Saturn opposition and Moon-Saturn conjunction, we now find ourselves pointed towards the Sign of Cancer which symbolizes home and family. Encouragement comes to consider if our current home and family structures (which should likely be viewed beyond limiting definitions of what home and family are/represent) are of optimal function for both ourselves and others comprising these units.
Do the dynamics of these intimate relationships allow for members to not only be individual and preform on the “I level” yet also to find harmony and support when bringing forth their individual representations to be shared upon the “WE level”? Is there an imbalance that needs to be addressed as to who(m) initiates and who(m) receives the benefits?
Some will find that only small adjustments/compromises need to occur to find a balance suitable for the one and all while others may now find that there is just too much distance between to bridge and may now need to part company with others that they feel they are able to have a productive family/home unit with.
With the support of Mars to this lunation we are granted the energy to courageously initiate any changes that we find are now due.
With Saturn returning to Virgo in retrograde in a little over a week, some changes that are now initiated within Libra may not completely take hold until Saturn returns to Libra in July, yet now is the time to initiate anything you clearly discern it is time to act upon.
Many Blessings~Kachina
