Into the Mystic

The next Full Moon occurs on the Sagittarius-Gemini axis at 6°33′  on May 27th, 2010 at 7:07 pm EST.

For those of esoteric inclination, this lunation is also termed the Christ Moon and is the last High Moon of Spring, corresponding to the time of the dispensation of knowledge by The World Teacher that shall carry us forth on our path the remainder of the astrological year.

The correspondence of this lunation to the Christ Moon and it’s occurrence just a few short hours before the Uranus Aries Ingress implies this lunation shall be of significant importance in what develops for us over the next nine months; though with the astral influences now present there are truly no events of insignificance at this point! 🙂

A review of the attributes of the Sagittarius/Gemini axis focuses our concerns upon basic information and wisdom. Gemini is primarily concerned with the gathering of facts while Sagittarius is where these facts are expanded into a higher knowledge/wisdom. When Gemini and Sagittarius are functioning harmoniously we find ourselves in a consistent flow of taking simple thought forms and translating them to a higher awareness while conversely disseminating our higher awareness for utilization within simpler forms. The favoring of either polarity over the other can lead to either, superficiality via a dysfunctional Gemini’s dismissal of information as meaningless, or arrogance via a dysfunctional Sagittarius’ propensity towards fundamentalist inclinations.

To escape the confines of a narrow-minded existence we find the need to apply equal measures of objective and philosophical thought for through this application we are able to live a productive existence within the human experience through receiving and dispensing information and wisdom that is useful for achieving our objectives within this current lifetime.

This Full Moon will bring to our attention where we are on the scale of this axis in relation to our receiving and dispensing of information and wisdom and will encourage us to make adjustments if we are favoring one pole over the other. This period will enable us to ‘clear the slates’ of any thought-forms and ideologies that are no longer supportive our growth and foster the creating of free space for new directives to be seeded during the next New Moon.

The specifics of this lunation finds the Sun in harmonious aspect to Saturn in Virgo while in square to Neptune in Aquarius and Chiron in Pisces.

The Moon finds harmony with Jupiter and Uranus in Pisces (very soon to be in Aries!);  yet also in square to Neptune and Chiron.

Venus is semi-sextile the Sun while quincunx the Moon and Pluto is quincunx the Sun while semi-sextile the Moon.

While the ruler of the Sun in this lunation, Mercury, makes no major aspects to either the Sun or Moon it does form harmonious aspects to Venus, Neptune, Pluto and Chiron and receives slight agitation from Jupiter and Saturn. Of note is that Mercury, while now in direct motion, is still within the shadow of retrograde, and we are continuing to process information from early April until now emphasized by Mercury’s recent retrograde period.

The Moon receives a wide trine from Jupiter, the ruler of the Moon, and Jupiter is in a tight opposition to Saturn and conjunction to Uranus. Jupiter also squares Pluto and receives minor agitation from Mercury and minor support from Neptune and Chiron.

Taking into consideration the chart specific’s and also factoring in the correlation to the Christ Moon and the Uranus Aries Ingress occurring at almost the same time;  the following is how I am interpreting this Full Moon and the potential I see arising from this lunation.

This past year we have been deluged with information presenting as ‘fact’ both within our personal lives and within collective influence.

Pluto has been focused upon the strength and weakness within large structures such as bodies of leadership, financial arena’s and large corporations while in our personal lives we have come to reevaluate what we expect of these structures and how we intend to lend our power to, or withhold our energy from, said structures. We have also come to place more attention to our own foundations and have taken stock of that which we truly do need, and that which we do not, to continue to continue to walk our path and be productive for ourselves and within the whole.

Saturn is now completing his journey through Virgo and has updated our understanding of service to others and has assisted us in developing our unique forms of service in a manner that allows us to not only be of more effective service to others but to also attend to and maintain our own well-being as we do so. We have initiated better form into our daily routines and have learned to be a more effective communicator. We have also learned to be more energy savvy and to not get caught in energy-wasting endeavors that serve no fruitful purpose.

With Neptune and Chiron we have tuned in to the wounds of the collective and have noted how we feel we can best serve in the collective healing of these wounds. We have traveled deeper into compassion with Jupiter in Pisces and have initiated, and to a greater or lesser degree grieved through, radical yet necessary endings with Uranus-Jupiter in Pisces as we ready ourselves for a new expression of Being as we enter into Aries and further into the transitional Cardinal energies as the upcoming weeks unfold.

With the meet of Uranus and Jupiter in Aries we are entering a period of the inspirations of the Higher Mind being brought to action and into functioning form. This Full Moon is a time to release any irrelevant information or ‘facts’, to clear out obsessive thought forms that have not brought forth fruitful forms and to allow for space to be cleared for higher inspiration to be seeded that can be brought into practical realization over the next months. This will likely bring an end to some connections, be it one-on-one or group situations, if these connections are no longer bound by similar endeavors. Yet this will allow for one to find new alliances that better suit the purposes of the individual and the group over the course of the next year.

So it would appear it is a time to ‘accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative’ from our thought-forms..and whom is not an old-hat at that one?? 😉
