Saturn goes direct at 27°50′ Virgo on May 30th, 2010 and shall reenter Libra on July 22nd, 2010 thus bringing to a close Saturn/Virgo lessons and training.
Saturn will not return to Virgo again until 2036.
Of note is Saturn’s degree of direct station @ 27°5 Virgo for this is now a sensitized degree and as the inner planets move over this degree (especially the Sun and Mars) new developments in our Virgo related area’s will be triggered. For those that have applied themselves to their Virgo lessons (health, routines, communications etc) this will bring rewards for the efforts we have applied.
Dates relevant to the crossing by the inner planets of this degree are: 7-26-10 Mars > 8-5-10 Venus > 9-21-10 Sun > 10-2-10 Mercury
Mutables can now breath a little easier, as we are coming into the end of our up-close and personal journey with Saturn, as Cardinals prepare to resume their Saturn lessons and those with Saturn in Libra experience their 1st or 2nd Saturn Return.
A quick note to those with Uranus, Neptune or Pluto in Libra: transit Saturn will conjunct your outer planet at some time over the next 2 years and these transits of Saturn to an outer planet are a little heavier; especially if you happen to have your outer planet in a Libra zone that Saturn covers in retrograde. Hi Kachina. I’m definitely going to check your other articles on Saturn in Libra hitting the outer planets since I have Pluto in Libra…! I’m a long time lurker but decided to answer your question. Forgive any over-blabbing (Merc. in Virgo). I’m still learning to control the faucet! 🙂
I’m a Libra Sun with Saturn in Virgo (8th). This Saturn retrograde has been in my 9th house near my sun. Saturn in Virgo made me realize that I appreciate and treasure the details that ground me in reality and ground my spirituality (N. Node in Virgo 9th as well), and that for me true control and power over my own life and self involved respecting others’ control and power over their own lives and selves. It seems obvious, but I can forget when I care – and end up “caring” a bit too much! (even if it’s not my intent) It’s also meant taking back control and power in my own life and in how I see my life, in small but meaningful steps.
The retrograde specifically reminded me to mind the details in general (seeing how I can help make things happen as opposed to just count on luck – sage rising), that it’s going to take work and action to achieve what I want, and to pick and choose the details worth “attaching to”, as well as not “throwing away the baby with the bathwater” as the saying goes.
I suppose this paves the way for Saturn in Libra too, so I figure it’s all positive 🙂
