The Disintegration of the Persistence of Memory~ Salvadore Dali
The Pisces New Moon of 2018 occurs on March 17th @ 27° of Pisces. This is the last New Moon in Pisces before Chiron’s ingress of Aries and as such showcases the previous years’ transit of Chiron through this sign.
The annual Pisces New Moon offers an end of year/cycle opportunity to release the previous years’ struggles and to offer and receive Forgiveness for transgressions, real or imagined. A time of healing intentions being sown; as well as a time conducive to inner reflection of the previous years experience. This year we also reflect and rectify our experience of the Chiron transit of the past 7 years as we look ahead to Chiron’s ingress of Aries in the coming weeks.
Forgiving does not erase the bitter past. A healed memory is not a deleted memory. Instead, forgiving what we cannot forget creates a new way to remember. We change the memory of our past into a hope for our future.
— Lewis B. Smedes
Co-Rulers Neptune and Jupiter, newly retrograde, are once again in a forming trine. Go Big or Go Home emotionalism, possessiveness, illusion or escapism is possible as is the attainment of Blessed Transcendence and Luminosity of Spirit. Which may occur, and for whom, is likely dependent on one’s comfort level within the Ocean of Pure Potential. Those that are able to transcend the painful illusion of lone-ness and to merge with the All-Light One-Love hold an advantage in these energies.
While not closely aligned to the Lunation itself, the chart backdrop for this Moon has Saturn, Lilith and Pluto in conjunction in Capricorn with Lilith at the midpoint of Saturn/Pluto. Lilith at 15° Cap is quincunx/semi-sextile North/South Node in Leo/Aquarius, sextile Neptune in Pisces and tightly square the Venus/Mercury conjunction in Aries. That brings 15° of 5 different signs into the forefront and activates that degree of any sign in some aspect and form. Fate and karma are a strong feature to this Lunation and suggest that whatever begins here, situational or relational, is not truly “new” to us but resurrected or brought forth from another time and space. Too, the “new” beginning may actually be an ending in some form that fosters a resurrection of self or situation.
The New Moon is applying to conjunction with Chiron whom has very recently separated from a square with Mars in Sagittarius. While Mars will ingress Capricorn shortly after the New Moon he sits teetering at the edge of Sagittarius at the time of the Moon. Something has recently happened here, between Chiron and Mars, that may have instigated a review of our Chiron/Pisces experience of the past years.
Our Chiron in Pisces years have featured Martyr and Savior archetypal energies and situations. Addictions and self-harming behaviors may have been a part of the experience for some. Many have felt the collective sorrows more intensely and may have teetered on bitterness and judgement. Others may have found transcendence within same energies and found themselves able to pray for forgiveness and enlightening for All; even those deemed the “Sinners”. Most of us have probably experienced a combination of the above and have hopefully come to a better personal understanding of our unique strengths within our personal and collective imperfection.
It feels as though something needs to give way in some manner. Possibly an ideal needs to be put into action that demonstrates what we have gleaned from Chiron these past years.
Maybe it is time to reformulate our philosophies in regards to what, and or whom, is considered to be in some form wounded, ill or imperfect. Can we now embrace as Perfect that which we have deemed as imperfect in ourselves and others and within our personal and collective experiences? A tall order that is and maybe just a dying Piscean dream..or maybe not.
It is my belief that there is Purpose in All Things and that All Things are of Creator. I do not truly subscribe to mis-Creation but I do recognize, and on occasion suffer from, the human tendencies of mis-identity and misunderstanding . With this Moon I am striving to embrace the Perfection of this Earth Experience in all of it’s Joy’s and Sorrow’s, and I am striving to see Self and Others as Perfectly Healed and Whole, As Is. Though this may take me many, many lives in many spaces and places I still believe it’s worth it.
The Piscean dream.
All Light One Love.
