Systemic racism is rooted in the ideology that enemies are existent outside of oneself. Racism is born of a belief that one is limited in some manner or form by the actions, or non-actions, of another individual, group or society.
The transcendence of racism, by an individual or society, requires an embrasure and practice of a non-polarized philosophy. It is through this form of practice that true empowerment and freedom can be obtained.
Essential to undertaking and practicing a unified philosophy is the need to first identify and negate divisive belief patterns in oneself.
In my opinion “shadow work” is the best tool available to identifying one’s misaligned beliefs.
Shadow work is generally uncomfortable and often excruciatingly painful/difficult to the emotional self. I have no estimation of when an individual or society is called to, or prepared for, this method of effectively dismantling misaligned thought and projection. It is my hope that many are ready; it would seem the invitation is broadly apparent in our everyday worldly affairs.
This week’s Cancer New Moon Solar Eclipse occurs on Summer Solstice and therefore flavors the entire season ahead. With Saturn in quincunx to the lunation there will be discomfort. The unease will not be avoidable nor will it be easy to identify. Looking outside of oneself for the origin of the discomfort will not yield fruitful results
Using this time to identify and correct dis-empowering thoughts and feelings would be effort well spent as we are quickly approaching a volatile Mars Retrograde period ahead.
