Fortify: New Moon Cancer July 2020- Pt. 2
July 20, 2020 by Kachina Houska

The New Moon @ 29º Cancer occurs on July 20, 2020.
New Moons usher in a period of new beginnings/initiatives.
The current New Moon is challenging. Patience and perseverance will be required.
The chart erected for this New Moon presents with a tight opposition to Saturn bringing restriction and hardship to the fore. Delays are to be expected.
Being brought “face to face” with an externalized fear, limitation or responsibility can invoke feelings of insurmountable adversity.
Said encounter/awareness will “provoke” the need to “Fortify” some area of one’s life related to the inner-self, emotional self, home, family etc.
As mentioned previously in Pt. 1, “Fortify” is what I tuned in to as the overall theme of the current New Moon period.
The following definition(s) of “fortify” succinctly represent direction for the new beginnings we undertake in the days ahead.
Extract From Dictionary.com
Fortify: verb
1. to protect or strengthen against attack; surround or provide with defensive military works.
2. to furnish with a means of resisting force or standing strain or wear
3. to make strong; impart strength or vigor to
4.to increase the effectiveness of, as by additional ingredients
5. to strengthen mentally or morally

Also represented in the New Moon chart is the quickly approaching squares of Mars to Capricorn planets.
While still wide in orb, these encroaching squares represent a near future escalation of tension and volatility.
This forthcoming period of crisis will extend into 2021 due to the retrogradation of Mars this later this year.
This New Moon is presenting the opportunity to fortify your life in whatever manner you feel guided to do so to persevere the storms ahead.
***
I will soon be writing more on the upcoming Mars to Capricorn squares and subsequent retrograde of Mars. I have already received the theme/energy for that period as “Frenzy” so please be cautious in the weeks ahead.
Be Well!
