Yesterday, I shared about my daughter’s Libra Sun being transited conjunct by Saturn, so she is also having Pluto square to her Sun at this
time.
For myself, my natal Moon and Cancer Ascendant is being squared by Saturn and opposed by Pluto.
My natal Uranus is conjunct tr. Saturn and square tr. Pluto.
Everything feels to be of great meaning now.
Each day brings a new revelation.
Yet with each new insight, there is less and less certainty as to what the final outcome will be.
There are big changes right around the bend for myself, for both of my daughters, for all of us on this planet…
My daughter made a recent posting to her tumblr page that I feel captured this energy of change quite well and I thought I’d share it here, unedited.
My Moon’s heart is deeply touched by my daughter today and I feel proud of her, yet I am also a bit nostalgic and blue….
I suppose I should also mention, that transiting Jupiter is now upon my daughters IC, and almost upon my MC.
Blessings to All!
Feel free to share your personal thoughts/stories. Kachina

Day after day, I find myself standing in a chaotic mix of people rushing around a crowded train station. Everyone is always in a hurry to progress to their next destination, always so sure of where they are headed. To my right is a train heading to a place very familiar and comforting; a home if you will. A home full of memories and security. This place is however quite dull and filled with great loneliness. I look to my left and discover a chance to be taken somewhere new, to a place so beautiful and full of excitement and happiness. This place, as tempting as it may seem, is full of insecurity and risks to be taken.
Day in and day out, I stand before my two paths of choice. Never making any final desicions and being perfectly content sitting in stagnation. Suddenly, I begin thinking about time and how much of it I may or may not have left. I become anxious, panicking at the thought of having to decide. I know that I can not take any longer to make this choice. My mind is racing, and I know what I have to do. I inhale deeply, and enter the train on the left.

Two days past my 18 year old daughter was pulled over by a policeman and issued a warning citation.
Her infraction?
Driving with one head light. {{smiles}}
This incident was downright poetic.
Here’s why. 😉 (more…)

Our next Full Moon occurs on January 30th, 2010 at 1:18 am EST @ 10°15′ Leo/Aquarius.
Where ever a Full Moon falls in our charts, is where we have the opportunity to become Conscious (Sun) of that which has been Unconscious (Moon), as during a Full Moon the Sun shines directly upon the Moon eliminating all shadows.
Two weeks ago, the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Capricorn brought in some incredibly supportive energies for new beginnings in the area’s of our life related to that New Moon event.
Our New Moons have been occurring in the sign previous to our Full Moons, which has been making for very interesting developments, concerning our intentions set during the New Moon.
This Full Moon carries what began in Capricorn into our Leo/Aquarius area for further development and culmination.
Even though our Full Moons have been occurring in signs after those in which the New Moon occurred, the Sun’s illuminations upon the Moon are completely relevant to that which was started in the previous signs two weeks earlier during the New Moon, and lend us guidance on our next step to achieving that which we intended during the previous New Moon.
The New Moon that occurred two weeks previous brought much to the surface for many and many have been doing a tremendous amount of release work since then.
Now with this Full Moon at 10° Leo, we are beginning to see the results of our intentions and how we did releasing anything that was not in alignment with our new intentions.

Last month found us grounded to the max.
That is my opinion on the matter anyway, for I am not sure I have ever felt that grounded in my entire life.
We had 5 planetary bodies all within Capricorn and I felt as if I was pushing through an atmosphere that was suddenly no longer wispy and etheric but made of jello.
Even though Capricorn is a mutable sign, with all of those bodies there, it was way toooo grounded for my taste. 🙂

Whew! This Mercury retrograde was quite a whopper for me!
I’ve been noting many others sharing that sentiment, and undeniably, we have a lot occurring around this retrograde making it a little more difficult to try to isolate what was effecting what and in what manner.
I have had days these past weeks that putting together a sentence was more effort than it was worth leaving me exhausted for hours after (and no, sadly that is not an exaggeration).
Too, my conversations have really been out in left-field, even my Merc-Jup-Uranus stellium has been a little surprised by the stuff coming forth from my mouth.
I was talking to a friend yesterday, and out of the blue while I am giving him the rundown on his current transits, I interject with, “I need to go swimsuit shopping”, and then proceed to tell him all about it, whatever it was that I was prattling on about concerning swimsuit shopping, for I am not even certain what I said.
Maybe I was channeling Elle MacPherson {{laughs}}, hey it’s a possibility she’s been on my mind quite a bit lately and I have no idea why, afterall, my brain is amped out on retro of late.
Whatever it was all about, it worked for him though{{big smile}} for he readily offered to go swim suit shopping with me.
Men are visual creatures, and that is a good thing in this case, for I am not certain what all I said in that conversation, and just in case he picked up on Elle, well let’s just say he is going to have to spin a really good projection my way to be seeing that.
At 40, I don’t mind nearly as much as when I was younger, as long as I benefit in a way that pleases me, it’s all good, right?{{HUGE grins}}
Too, after sharing this conversation I had with one male friend with another male in my life, I received a hearty second offer of companionship for my swimsuit shopping excursion. 😉
Now that I’ve digressed, and confessed, my personal stuff again for the zillionth time this year so far…back to my attempt at talking Mercury Retro.

With Saturn square Pluto remaining an influence in our lives through most of this year, we continue to receive stressful energies from this match up that can leave not only our emotional and mental bodies stressed but also our physical body.
When one body of the human system is compromised so are the others to some degree as all three bodies are interrelated.
When we are subjected to longer term frictional transits (those of a square for instance), chronic stressing of the physical body gone unchecked can later lead to dis-ease, sometimes many months or even years after the transit has concluded.
By looking to the physical governorship of the signs and planets within a particular transit we are able to define what area’s of our physical health we should be placing our attention on and practicing preventative care during a frictional transit.
In this post, while I am directly addressing the current square of Saturn in Libra to Pluto in Capricorn, these tips still shall remain of benefit for the entire duration that Saturn and Pluto remain in these signs.
These tips are of special importance for those with natal late mutable/early cardinal placements (as the Saturn/Pluto square places the most focus in these degrees) and also for those with placements in other signs that are/will be receiving a square or oppositional aspect to your natal placement from either Saturn or Pluto during their Libra and Capricorn transits.
Taurus and Leo Ascendants: This is of particular importance to you also as your 6th houses of health are governed by Libra and Capricorn respectively.

We are treated to our first annular Solar Eclipse of 2010 on January 15th with the New Moon coming exact just a few minutes later at 2:11am EST @ 25°1′ Capricorn.
Due to the duration of this Eclipse, events put into motion by this eclipse will continue to develop and be a part of our lives for the next 3+ years, with new developments being triggered each time this 25th degree of Capricorn is transited by the Moon or an inner planet.
Where a Solar Eclipse occurs in our chart is where we are afforded an opportunity for new beginnings within the area’s governed by the house in which the Eclipse occurs.
To locate where this eclipse is occurring for you, look to the house which has Capricorn on the cusp, if you do not have a copy of your natal chart, generate one for free at Astro.com

As I looked at the chart of this eclipse this morning, and was musing over an appropriate title for this piece, I was hearing Motley Crue’s “Kick Start My Heart” playing quite insistently through my mind. 🙂
Upon a closer look at the chart for this Solar Eclipse event I was quite pleased to see that this event does indeed carry some fabulous Heart energies within it. I thanked my guidance with an “OH YES..absolutely perfect!”..and am now just downright excited to get this show on the road!

if only for the briefest
of moments
‘tween dropped notes
of casual exchange
arises a verse
brought to your lips
its tone
come forth unbidden
no longer veiled within
tangles of rhyme
freed then I would be
to recite mine own
verse of love
liberating my fore silent lips
could heavens glimpse
then await our sight
if only you should
respond yea to the query
resting still ever patient
within my Heart.

Saturn, the teacher, turns retrograde on January 13th @ 4°39 Libra.
This retrograde cycle of Saturn is not only taking place in Libra but will also carry back into Virgo, when Saturn re-enters the sign of Virgo on April 7th, bringing to a close our lessons of a Virgo nature when Saturn stations direct @ 27°50 Virgo on May 30th.
These situations/experiences that we first encountered while Saturn was direct will now be focused inward for reflection offering an opportunity for greater understanding to take place and allowing us to make any necessary adjustments to our Saturn area of influence and functions before Saturn once again travels direct and crystallizes our new Saturn related directives.
