The next Full Moon occurs on the Sagittarius-Gemini axis at 6°33′  on May 27th, 2010 at 7:07 pm EST.

For those of esoteric inclination, this lunation is also termed the Christ Moon and is the last High Moon of Spring, corresponding to the time of the dispensation of knowledge by The World Teacher that shall carry us forth on our path the remainder of the astrological year.

The correspondence of this lunation to the Christ Moon and it’s occurrence just a few short hours before the Uranus Aries Ingress implies this lunation shall be of significant importance in what develops for us over the next nine months; though with the astral influences now present there are truly no events of insignificance at this point! 🙂

My 12th house Moon at 29° Gemini conjunct my Cancer ascendant has always been a challenge for me. Not a fluffy moon, it receives squares from my angular South Node, Pluto, Uranus, Jupiter and Mercury at the bottom of my chart and at the top has squares to my North Node and Chiron. Throw in an opposition to Mars and voila!, challenged Moon. {{smiles and reminds self to love my moon anyway}}

Transiting Pluto spent many years opposing my Moon and during that time the dissolution of female relationships was absolute, in regards to friends and family, less my daughters. My relationship with my daughters strengthened and evolved into a deep friendship and something far more beautiful and fulfilling than I could have imagined I would have with them at their current ages of 22 and 18. Friendship, true and real friendship is what we have now and that means everything to me for if there is no friendship in any form of a relationship than there is no relationship, period. I honestly believe that. I do not feel that blood relationships hold us together, at least it has not been true for me, friendship does. Yet, the relationship with my daughters while transformed was done so under duress.

In 2005 I had my Jupiter return, transiting Pluto conjuncted my natal Mars triggering my natal Mars-Pluto square and Saturn finished his transit through my 1st house and ended with a conjunction to my Leo Venus triggering my natal Venus-Saturn square. Divorce, followed by a financial collapse, was the result for me. By the end of 2006, my material net worth was packable, literally luggage tote-able{{laughs}}, attire and a few keepsakes plus my faithful little dog. That’s it. Everything else was gone. Home, auto’s, furnishings, bank accounts…gone in the blink of an eye it seemed. I have come to accept that this was the result of my dragging my tail on bringing to closure many situations when I should have instead of attempting to be the “good girl” and my previously warped perception of whom I thought I needed to be to be ‘spiritual’ undoubtedly contributed to my sluggishness in making willing changes too.

Sometimes I start to fall back on the old crutch of,  “Hey, I was presented with a whole plate of Shit when I entered this life” and then I check it quickly, for it is no excuse for my not attending to what was in my power to attend to and crutches like that one just catapult you right back into victim-hood. That is never a productive place to be and I very sincerely believe that these times are we are in will no longer allow for that state of consciousness. We now must take full accountability for our actions and non-actions, that is the only way through this pass, the best that I can see. No more pointing fingers and hiding behind shadows, at least not for me it would seem, for those shadows have been outed for me non-stop and I have to own them, there just is no other option even though I cannot logically explain why that is to someone that doesn’t already get it, you know?

The next New Moon occurs at 23°9′ Taurus on May 13th, 2010 at 9:04 pm EST.

As the second sign in the zodiac, and ruled by Venus, Taurus is where we find ourselves concerned with self-gratification, with Self-Love. Taurus is the place where we take great pleasure in thrusting our hands into the moist soils of our earthy existence to sow seeds that will bring much pleasure to our 5 basic senses. Here, we find ourselves longing for experiences of a more hedonistic nature.

Taurus evokes images of the Garden of Eden, for it is here that we are renewed within the simplicity of earthly delights and express a primitive innocence in undertaking that which we find pleasing, without obsessive regard to the ‘rightness or wrongness’ of our desires. Here, that which is nurturing to the senses and to the physical self, just IS.

Later as we develop our Venus attributes in the sign of Libra, we come to be concerned with a further developed and balanced expression of Venus and we apply the “WE” principle, seeking to offer unto an other our ‘fruits of self’ while desiring an other to in turn offer unto us their ‘fruits of self’.

Many find great discomfort in giving recognition to their hedonistic elements and deny themselves the right to self-gratification/love. Yet our path of evolution through the Zodiac has made no error in taking us into the realms of Venus in Taurus before Libra. When one wishes to enter into relationship through the portal of Libra, one must first have something to offer to another, and that is where our experience of Taurus begins our quest to achieve self-fulfillment that allows us to enter into unions that have the best opportunity for long-term survival due to our entering said unions with minimal likelihood of forming a co-dependency due to a sense of lack within one’s self. Mercury turns direct at 2°40′ Taurus on May 11th, 2010 and once again traverses 2°-13° Taurus where we have been receiving varied information and insights during the retrograde phase. We now consolidate that which we have observed and put considerations to and begin to move toward externally expression of our revised situations. Mercury exits the shadow period on May 28th and by that point we will have brought stability to various area’s in our lives in preparation for undertaking new initiatives during this summer’s Cardinal influence that should prove to be quite dynamic!

In my previous post on Mercury Retrograde in Taurus , I shared how I viewed this retrograde phase as bringing us to clarity on that which we value and how we needed to go about securing a treasure(s) that we hold in high regard by placing our energy where it would bring the best possible outcome desired. With the Scorpio-Taurus Full Moon occurring during this retrograde, many of us found it necessary to make adjustments that would allow us to proceed to claiming that which we value. These adjustments included a letting go of any situations/endeavors that were not producing favorable results in regards as to the amount of energy we were expending in these situations/endeavors.

The Full Moon on April 28th, 2010 occurs at 8°07′ Scorpio/Taurus at 8:19 am EST.

Where a Full Moon falls in our charts is where we are gifted the opportunity of becoming Conscious (Sun) of that which has been Unconscious (Moon) as during a Full Moon the Sun shines directly upon the Moon eliminating all shadows.

This lunation is also known as the Wesak Moon and finds its correspondence to Buddha. For those that are interested you can learn more concerning the Wesak Moon and the correlation to Buddha by visiting SouledOut.org

************

This Full Moon finds the Sun conjunct Mercury (just hours before the exact inferior conjunction) in opposition to the Moon in Scorpio and with the co-rulers of the Scorpio Moon (Mars and Pluto) in aspect to both the Moon and Sun this is a powerful lunation!

The Sun has joined Mercury and Venus within Taurus, Saturn is once again visiting Virgo and Pluto and the North Node remain in Capricorn.

With this current strong emphasis in Earth, these next days are favorable for all things practical, and this should come as a great relief after many weeks of much emotional and mental activity being catalyzed by our Pisces-Aries transition.

Now is a fabulous time to put to order all that was neglected and/or strewn about during the past weeks of upheaval.

With Mercury currently in retrograde, ‘spring cleaning’ of anything and everything in need of attention is a wonderful way to still the mind and allow Mercury the free space to bring forth new insights concerning the past weeks events.

Physical activities are also favored and advisable, especially with Saturn’s return to Virgo, and now is a great time to step up your fitness program or to commit yourself to attending your physical fitness if need be.

Here’s to rolling up those sleeves and getting down to the practical endeavors that are quite necessary for total well-being! 🙂

Yes, it is that time again. 🙂

Mercury has turned retrograde at 13° Taurus on April 18th, 2010 and will retrace back to 2° Taurus where direct station will occur on May 11th.

These next 3 weeks offer an opportunity to review and reevaluate that which has taken place in our lives during the approximate time frame of April 4th-April 17th when Mercury first traversed these degrees of Taurus in direct motion.

During the forward motion of Mercury through the early degrees of Taurus we have had constant aspects between Mercury and the following bodies: Venus, Mars and Pluto. We have also had considerable contact between Mercury and these bodies: Saturn, Neptune and Chiron.

A lot going on here in a the space of a few short weeks!

The New Moon in Aries @ 24°27′ occurs on April 14th, 2010 at 8:29 am EST.

We have had over 3 weeks pass since the Vernal Equinox delivered some phenomenal energies thanks to the jump start assistance of Mars. Now we find that which began during the Equinox and then was brought to light for adjustment after the last Full Moon in Libra/Aries is now being focused through a yod formation to Saturn in Virgo for further expansion and grounding.

Since the Equinox, there has been a heightened sense of the ‘old’ and the ‘new’ overlapping. Many forms have gotten off to a rapid start while others forms that have outlived their usefulness continue to come to completion. This has been quite an intense time for many and there has been some confusion as to what is really leaving completely and what is being transformed into a new expression and shall continue forward with us albeit in a renewed form.

Pluto turned retrograde @ 5°25′ Capricorn on April 7th and remains retrograde until September 13th, 2010 when direct station occurs at 2°47′ Capricorn.

Pluto first covered these same degrees in forward motion between September 12th, 2009 and April 7th, 2010. There has been much occurring since last September in the arena’s governed by Capricorn(see below) and now we will be evaluating that which had transpired from a different angle during this retrograde phase.

************

Pluto is commonly referred to as the planet of Transformation, Death-Rebirth and Power.

The highest function of Pluto is to empower individuals and societies through bringing to an end that which has become non-productive and toxic, within and without an individual and/or societal structure, purifying the said entity on the deepest level and allowing for new forms to be seeded and birthed free of previous non-beneficial influences.

Saturn returns to Virgo in retrograde motion on April 7th and turns direct while within Virgo on May 30th @ 27°50′.

Saturn’s stay in Virgo comes to a close on July 21st, 2010 when Saturn returns to Libra hence signaling completion of another cycle of Saturn within Virgo for another 28+ years.

Saturn, as the teacher, brings forth lessons that assist us in restructuring area of our life functions that are in need of updating to better reflect whom we are today and to support our growing into a future expression that is in harmony with our path.

Saturn’s transit of Virgo these past years has offered insight into where we have been falling short in our Virgo sector(health, daily routines, pets) and has encouraged us to improve the function of anything we found to be of dysfunction.

We are now entering the last review for these Saturn/Virgo concerns, and if there is anything we failed to complete that Saturn had slated for us, these next weeks will bring these area’s into focus once again.

To review information concerning Saturn’s return to Virgo you may wish to revisit this article: Saturn Retrograde: Culmination in Virgo
