Into the Mystic

The Leaving; is the Coming

When I awaken and go
I shall carry you with me
much as once you carried me forth
to Here
as I remained within my slumbers.

When I awaken and go
I shall seal
our Fare-Thee-Wells
upon this Haven
once permissive
of our unified
Rests and Risings
however fleeting
I recall them to be.

When I awaken and go
I shall carry you with me
course set in tandem
with ascendant Sun
wasting naught of my Freedom gained
a much desired treasure
worthy of savor.

When bright beams mellow
with setting of Days done
and I am met with horizon
of descendant Sun
I will not resist the lullaby
of gentle Moon arising
into the sweetness of slumber
I shall re-commit myself
with honest willingness.

When you awaken and go
you shall carry me with you
much as once I carried you forth
to Here,
as you remained within your slumbers.
Set your course in tandem
with ascendant Sun
wasting naught of your Freedom gained
for it is a treasure
that most assuredly you will find worthy
of savor.

When the brightest beams
of your Days mellow
and brilliant horizon
has been attained
lullaby whispers shall call you
to your own gentle slumber.

Resist!
do not surrender to urging
of acceptance of solitary rest
within the gathering Twilight.
Opportune Time has arrived
once more in this space,
where ascendant Moon
touches descendant Sun,
for You and I
to once again find renewal
within unified Rests and Risings.

I will hasten myself from slumber;
if you will but delay your next dream…
We are almost There.

Alchemy; the Space Between Eclipses

How do I bring myself Forth from this loneliness?

For the last of your Days

were surely the first of my Nights

yet still my Heart indwells possibility

that Providence shall grant us Union

with the Bestowing upon us

of a Reality fully formed

within the delicate sliver of Space

between rigid absolutes

that ‘ere now has confined us

to only mirrored Experience

of that which has been

the Other’s unmet World.

Wrath, not Beauty, Shall Fade

He denies me Beauty

Despising me for my Love of It

yet but a twisted whimper of wrath

is his claim upon a fame.

Should thou peer keenly

upon the wrinkle set over brow

what once was mistook

for mark of great thought

shall prove to be naught

but crevasse of envy

pressed ever more deeply

‘neath beguiled weight

of self-doubts.

Why then should I

invite upon mine own mind

the burdens of thee

whom would seek to shackle me

within fortress walls

bereft of Life?

For is it not true

that your denial of a Thing

can no more cease the existence

of that Thing

than it can prevent

my Love upon It?

I will not fret you further

in these matters and Ways

yet will choose to full Heartedly Embrace

all of my Greatest and Truest Loves

wasting not yet another moment

indeed many sunrises of moments

in a denial of That which is found

pleasurable unto Mine Very Soul

so that you might find a small

indeed dismally small comfort

through your banal denials

of Beauty and Love

so that one’s self

finds preservation within

a misery of righteous Wrongs.

Ode to Great Mother

I will cling to this Earth

as all of miscreation crumbles around me

and She shall cleave to me

and gratitude shall flow from my lips,

to be captured within Her rhythmically beating Heart,

in great thanks of sanctuary accepted

from One as Divine as She

As She and I entwine I breathe of Her

her fragrance one of dew, and moss

and decay and Life

And I Rest

I rest knowing that whilst

the Planets above us court new partners

and Stars pirouette in spaces ere unknown

and Chaos reigns as Ballerino this day

a new day filled with new sky

shall surely break upon tumultuous horizon

sweeping aside afore clashing storms of ere begotten ways

and a brilliant Moon shall find placement aside

her loving Partner’s golden warmth

and I shall reemerge

from space of nurtured and protective containment

yet still shall I find myself entwined

as though fed through newborn cord

to my ever attentive Earth Mother

and I shall honor her in All Manners and Ways

Always

and ne’er again shall I doubt Her Love of me

For from Her I was born and to Her I will return

Time and again, as long as Earth is to be home

To this Soul of Mine

Birth Pains

In my dying times

I curl in upon myself

brittle becomes my flesh

my muscles, my bones

ache though I do

with the rot of it

still I seek to protect

possible newborn prospect

deep within the skeletal remains

of what once I was.

Of Mermaids and Loves Once Thought Lost 

Was it She that brought You forth, to I?;

had She cast forth to You

upon Her ever-flowing Tides

my Longings of Heart,

ages and ages of need and want

spilled forth into her fathomless depths

as I, made naked my Soul desires

entrusting unto Her the containment

of these precious-unto-me Things

when the vastness of their totality

became far too great

to be held solely

within the Earthen forms

of my many mortal Be-ings.

Did it find You?;

as You drifted upon the Sea

the whispered request

for Your Presence before I

encapsulated within translucent bubble

an urging to You by She

by I

to swim further abroad

to where long I’ve awaited

Your return unto Me.

Or perhaps as I waded,

within Her endless shoals

age upon age merging

with the next, with the ‘fore

as an act of great benevolence

for I,

for You,

She pressed within a Pearl

my sincerest wish-filled Flows

and nestled the lustrous orb

‘neath many layers of sands

upon distant Ocean bed.

And You, diving deeply

whilst seeking for some Thing

yet echoed within Heart

though long hidden from mind

uncovered Her precious gift to Us

and it bespoke to You

possibility of a Mystic Love.

The Mermaid Love

long latent within Me

now rejoices with Your choice

to follow your Heart

and deny your mind

it’s pleading for safe return

to previous known shores

a favoring of foreign experience

and new adventure

with I,

on the swells

of Ever Changing Tides.

The Goodbye Song

There simply was not enough of Me

to accommodate

there not being enough of You

and though I wish a choice could have been made

upon which We both were found favored

I found it not to be within My power

to make such decision

for Us both.

If it were Mine alone to attend

We would not have arrived here

at the end of Our long walk

to behold this fork in the road

with We, knowing

each shall now choose a differing Path ahead.

Though did We not place steps upon differing course

long ‘ere We arrived at this juncture

when Each sought to follow their unique calling

deep within Themselves?

In these last moments of a shared Life

within Our now dissolving Union

let Us hold no regrets

envisioning the Other with the greatest of Fondness

a sincere Blessing to be carried close to Soul

as We bid Our Adieu.

Though over hill we travel on alone

and through many valleys

of separate course we shall meander

We yet may emerge

miles and worlds forth from now

at another convergence of Paths.

And I would have us do so

with gladness in our Hearts

that we might embrace the Other

heartily and with enthusiasm

for a reunified Journey

leading ever onward

Home.

I AM LOVE with an Other

I AM Love

with an Other

having previously risen

to invitation upon

a Path of destination

one not of easy traverse.

Yet arrived

I one morning did

to find at Love’s Door

an Other I

whom too once had

risen to like invitation.

Acceptance by He

of I,

and I of He

alit a ferocious Fire

that laid to waste

last vestige of resistance

to surrendered acceptance

of a bestowing of Grace.

This Love,

that I AM

with an Other

is not a passive Love

though She be gentle

nor is She a forcible Love

but an ever-long

Invitation.

She speaks of

no confinements

nor definitions

nor denials

a Sonnet of Inclusion

flows from her Lips

and through

mine Heart.

This Love,

She tutors

is the Love without beginning

and without demise

to be shared Freely

in all Expressions

with any whom

rise to Invitation,

Evermore.

Defiant in Our Naked Truth 

Are we yet impregnated,

by the soon-to-be Ghosts,

of a Fading Age?

Inseminated even now

with the unmet dreams

and impossible to bear expectations

of a minority frenzy

still unaccepting

of the Common need

to bring forth from our Womb

a power Truer

than the one of Era previous.

Can we rid ourselves

of the antiquated notions

that have fueled everlasting wars

as an endless attempt

by those fearful of the

Truer Power

to retain the last gasp

of a false hierarchy structure

whose withering seeds

prove inability to father

further violence and mayhem

through those whom have boldly

reclaimed their wombs.

Let us not waste our precious Vessels

nor Seeds

on that which cannot,

Will not

acknowledge that refusals for transparency

are for the betterment

of no One but themselves

while continuing their mad grabs

for corporations, currencies and titles

with little regard for the damage to lands

and vital resources

bestowed as inherent rights

for the support and comforts of

All Life Forms

upon Our Earth Mother.

Be Bold and Unafraid

Stand Nakedly in Your Truth

and notice

Who is Bold and Unafraid

in their Nakedness

Beside You.

This is Family;

This is Tribe.

This is why you did The Work;

and Very Soon

you will plainly see

You are not Alone.

I Smothered It

I smothered it;

I smothered it ‘ere full breath

 could be undertaken,

Re-animating a once lovely 

yet still-past, dead Thing.

Though saddened I was by the doing of it;

I have no regret of the act,

and decision for it, in itself.

The returning of the Thing to Rest,

‘ere accountability be demanded of me 

for its very Existence,

was the proper course to be undertaken .

One day future when glimpsing past,

it shall be known 

that the ending of the Thing

was the beginning of the Liberation

for Us each.

I wish it to be understood;

that my relinquishment unto Death,

of the very Thing 

that I desired so,

is offering of testament to a growth

bearing fully this humble recognition

that should the beloved Thing Become

once more Arisen

finding itself Reborn 

unto a new Day

it’s Promise to resurrected Life 

was gifted by a Power

far exceeding of mine alone.

Ode to the Non-Committal

Word Up on me Not with lingual love

Forget me Please if this is all that you offer;

to sleazy Seize that which you desire

yet noncommittal Be Thee still to the fires;

that Truest Love brings to aLight

attempt Ye’ Not to break it down for me

how you suffered by others and trusted not

for I am not they whom minced words and actions

truths loosed from my heart shared freely from honest tongue

an unmeasurable many times

to be met only by your backward facing ears

unable to meet me present;

for Past wrongs bethought of from others

held you closely and stroked One’s fragile ego

lest accountability take hold and require greater effort

to seize upon a new day

and enter Genuine relation with another

such as I

where one’s each and every action

is an Expression of Love

and not merely a pumped up word

dialogued strategically with guile

merely meant to excuse one of misaligned deeds;

and non-deeds; indeed!

Woe unto He that plays his hand as such

for lonely be the days and nights

that hence forth come from such self serving pantomimes

So again I say with kindness;

though you might doubt that to be true

Word Up on Me Not! and properly

Forget Me True!

for undoubtedly the best course Be

to walk separately

 our Rested Lives through.
