Saturn Returns to Libra 7-21-10: Balance, Harmony and Relationships are Once Again Center Stage :)

Saturn returns to Libra on July 21st, 2010 and shall remain in Libra until October of 2012.

We had a sneak peek of what Saturn transiting Libra has in store for us when Saturn briefly visited this sign late October of 2009 until early April of this year. Libra is Saturn’s sign of exaltation and seeks to bring relationships into proper structure through the balancing of two forces/energies that allows for a harmonic existence and functioning of the two previously individual energies.

Libra is the 7th sign of the natural Zodiac and therefore is the 1st sign of relationship. The first 6 signs, Aries through Virgo, are the space in which we come to know and develop the Self. The last 6 signs, Libra through Pisces, are the space in which we come to know that which is ‘external’ to one’s Self and develop comprehension of the “We” principle and eventually expand into the One Self.

Saturn has occupied the first 6 signs of the natural zodiac since 1994 so this shift into the 7th sign of Libra is quite significant as we steer our focus from Self to Other. A wonderful treat for those of us that have worked and reworked ourselves these past many years and are craving new lessons and directions that are less self-involved.

Our first step into harmonic relationship occurs within Libra and is where we seek compatibility through compromise while adjusting our boundaries to better suit our quest for right relationship. For some this shall mean an establishing of better defined boundaries while others will look to soften overly rigid ‘rules of engagement’. 🙂 As we have had a few months previous to now of experiencing Saturn in Libra you likely have some idea as to which application applies for you though it is quite possible to be working both ends by shoring up some boundaries while relaxing others of any that are no longer serving you in a beneficial manner.

Saturn Direct in Virgo>5/30/10

Saturn goes direct at 27°50′ Virgo on May 30th, 2010 and shall reenter Libra on July 22nd, 2010 thus bringing to a close Saturn/Virgo lessons and training.

Saturn will not return to Virgo again until 2036.

Of note is Saturn’s degree of direct station @ 27°5 Virgo for this is now a sensitized degree and as the inner planets move over this degree (especially the Sun and Mars) new developments in our Virgo related area’s will be triggered. For those that have applied themselves to their Virgo lessons (health, routines, communications etc) this will bring rewards for the efforts we have applied.

Dates relevant to the crossing by the inner planets of this degree are: 7-26-10  Mars > 8-5-10 Venus > 9-21-10 Sun > 10-2-10 Mercury

Meditational Thought: Forgiveness and Personal Sovereignty

When we come to the understanding that no one has the power to force our participation in any relationship, ideal or situation we then embrace a new perspective concerning the act and nature of Forgiveness.

From this new perspective me find we must be forgiving only unto ourselves for that which we feel has caused us pain or offense for without our willing participation we would not have experienced that which attributed to our perceived affliction.

When we have forgiven ourselves and stand within our personal sovereignty we no longer feel a need to attribute to others our good nor bad fortunes for we claim sole and complete responsibility for our choices and their subsequent consequences.

We are then freed of a need to forward forgiveness to another, for in truth, there was never anything to forgive since they could not have been the cause of our misfortune if we had not allowed them to be so.

If you are struggling with forgiveness in your life, bless yourself with forgiveness first for your participation with an individual or situation.

Be accepting when you suddenly find that you no longer feel as if you need to offer forgiveness to an other(s) for now any feelings that you once attributed to them that caused you to feel pain have already been released by your willingness to take accountability and accept grace, for yourself.

On this Valentine Day 2010, Venus, Jupiter and Uranus are all in residence within Pisces.

The last occurrence of this trio within the sign of Pisces together was in 1927.

Yes, it’s been a long time baby!

Yet are not the concerns of the Heart ever the same even if the appearances may have changed ever so slightly?

In Honor of Ron Wortham..God Speed, dear Soul, thank you for the smiles!

Hearts know no divisions and miles do not exist between Souls.

A few years ago I was befriended by an incredibly interesting man whom was likely seen as an eccentric to many for he had a great love of all things mysterious.

Ron was born in the beginning of the 1940’s, and had seen much and done much,  definitely not one to sit back and let life pass him by.

“Free Speak”, was his name upon the internet in many forums and arena’s, and this choice suited him perfectly for it represented the journalist that he was and his firm belief of transparency in all things.

In his later years, he served as a mentor to many young gifted mystic’s helping them to make sense of the perceptions they had that are not often popular within the mass public.

He was available ceaselessly for those that had a need of him, so much so that I often felt he served others too much and should take more time for himself, yet that was not his way and he thrived in service to others.

Ron viewed many social atrocities in his life, yet I truly believe that although he saw the far less-then-perfect aspects, he hoped that by providing others with what he saw in this world without the illusions spun by mainstream press, we had a shot at making this reality a much a better place for all of it’s inhabitants.

His, was a purpose filled life, and I believe he knew that to be so.

FreeSpeak, you were loved by many, I am going to miss you dear man! You made me laugh on days I really needed to smile, and the compliments you paid me shall always be within my heart, you boosted my self-confidence when I really needed it.

I saw a most beautifully bright shooting star last eve..that would be your way of saying “hi”, would it not? 🙂

God speed, I hope you now get to see that which you could not while standing on this orb we call Earth.

Saturn square Pluto @ Age 18> Through my Daughter’s Eyes & Within my Moon’s Heart

Yesterday, I shared about my daughter’s Libra Sun being transited conjunct by Saturn, so she is also having Pluto square to her Sun at this time.

For myself, my natal Moon and Cancer Ascendant is being squared by Saturn and opposed by Pluto.

My natal Uranus is conjunct tr. Saturn and square tr. Pluto.

Everything feels to be of great meaning now.

Each day brings a new revelation.

Yet with each new insight, there is less and less certainty as to what the final outcome will be.

There are big changes right around the bend for myself, for both of my daughters, for all of us on this planet…

My daughter made a recent posting to her tumblr page that I feel captured this energy of change quite well and I thought I’d share it here, unedited.

My Moon’s heart is deeply touched by my daughter today and I feel proud of her, yet I am also a bit nostalgic and blue….

I suppose I should also mention, that transiting Jupiter is now upon my daughters IC, and almost upon my MC.

Excuse my terrible grammar

~APB 2/1/10

Day after day, I find myself standing in a chaotic mix of people rushing around a crowded train station. Everyone is always in a hurry to progress to their next destination, always so sure of where they are headed. To my right is a train heading to a place very familiar and comforting; a home if you will. A home full of memories and security. This place is however quite dull and filled with great loneliness. I look to my left and discover a chance to be taken somewhere new, to a place so beautiful and full of excitement and happiness. This place, as tempting as it may seem, is full of insecurity and risks to be taken.

Day in and day out, I stand before my two paths of choice. Never making any final desicions and being perfectly content sitting in stagnation. Suddenly, I begin thinking about time and how much of it I may or may not have left. I become anxious, panicking at the thought of having to decide. I know that I can not take any longer to make this choice. My mind is racing, and I know what I have to do. I inhale deeply, and enter the train on the left.

Meditational Thought: Forgiveness, Compassion and Understanding

Forgiveness comes forth through Compassion.

Compassion is born of Understanding.

To truly forgive one’s self, or an other, one must have an understanding of how one has been served by an experience in which forgiveness is now sought.

Forgiveness is not an act of granting approval to one’s self or an other for an action that was harmful in some manner.

Forgiveness is an act of Completion.

Forgiveness is the act of releasing oneself from a lesson, now achieved.

Forgiveness is the acknowledgment of one’s smaller being to Source, that one has come to an understanding of the lesson of a challenging experience and has now reaped the knowledge of the experience that was of value in bringing growth to one’s Greater Being.

Forgiveness is also the releasing of that which was not of value to the Greater Being, from within the experience.

Those on the Journey to Wholeness via the path of Self-Healing, often become frustrated when an experience they feel they have found closure upon through forgiveness, arises once again for them, sometimes years later.

Often current life experiences that precipitate a need of coming to the state of forgiveness are manifestations of a much deeper root situation.

If you find a situation in your life reopened that you felt you had closed and achieved forgiveness within, by acknowledging this as an opportunity for deeper healing, you allow your Greater Self to lead you to Higher Understandings bringing forth Compassion from which the Highest Expression of Forgiveness springs.
