Our nation is in crisis.

At the core of our crisis is an apparent infection stemming from long neglected wounds.

The infection within this nation is now at a critical stage.

Pus is oozing from our many neglected wounds as the greater body of our nation attempts to clear itself of a critical, systemic infection.

Deliberate and immediate action is required if we wish to survive this.

This is a singular healing crisis, no matter the appearance of seemingly unconnected symptoms, and must be acknowledged as such if we wish to successfully embark on a treatment course that will produce a cure.

As an individual that often employs less commonly embraced forms of self-healing I offer the following observations and suggestions that I feel need to be considered to heal ourselves and our nation.

Pluto Retrograde 4/9/2011 – 9/16/2011

Pluto turns retrograde @ 7°30′ Capricorn on April 9th, 2011 and remains retrograde until September 16th, 2011 when direct station occurs at 4°53′ Capricorn.

Transformational Pluto seeks to empower individual and societal entities through the eradication of that which is non-beneficial and incongruous to the future well-being of said entity. Pluto assists us in reinventing portions of our lives that we were previously unable, or unwilling, to adapt on our own so that we might move forward on our path unencumbered by previous obstacles or outworn patterns/programs.

Governmental structures and large business institutions are beholden to Capricorn and while Pluto transits this sign these area’s are being continually, if seemingly at times slowly, purified to the core. As of the current time that I am penning this post, we in the U.S. are just a few short hours away from finding out if the “threat”(as termed by some mainstream media venues) of a Governmental Shutdown of “non-essential departments and programs” becomes a reality.

If this shutdown occurs it will be just hours before Pluto officially turns retrograde. Regardless if the shutdown takes place or no, the next weeks that Pluto remains on this retrograde degree will likely churn up previously “hidden” information related to this situation. As Uranus and Pluto tighten their square in the forthcoming weeks agitation in the U.S.  over this situation will likely be strongly present within public sentiment and may be the impetus for much larger changes occurring in 2012 and onward when the Uranus-Pluto squares come exact. Of course since September of 2010 while Pluto has been traveling direct numerous significant global events have occurred that relate directly to the transformation of Capricorn structures and those events too shall be revisited at another level if Pluto deems it necessary. The Sun is preparing to join the current T-square of Saturn, Pluto, Uranus and Jupiter and on June 15th until June 30th we will be experiencing our next Grand Cross of the 2010 season.

Mercury is moving quickly now and will join the Grand Cross a few days after it forms. During the Grand Cross formation, the Sun and Mercury will have their Superior Conjunction, an important aspect in relation to the previous Mercury retrograde period.

This 2 week period also contains other significant events with the Summer Solstice arriving on June 21st and the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn on June 26th.

These coming weeks are sizzling with energy and many will be feeling pressured to make adjustments and new choices in many different life area’s. Late mutable and early cardinal placements are feeling this most intensely; as has been true for some time now.

This post is a closer examination of the Grand Cross itself and notes important dates of this period as well as when the Moon will jazz it up even more. The Solstice, upcoming Capricorn Eclipse and Superior conjunction of the Sun and Mercury will be further expanded upon in later posts over the next week.

Pluto Retrograde in Capricorn 4/07/10 – 9/13/10

Pluto turned retrograde @ 5°25′ Capricorn on April 7th and remains retrograde until September 13th, 2010 when direct station occurs at 2°47′ Capricorn.

Pluto first covered these same degrees in forward motion between September 12th, 2009 and April 7th, 2010. There has been much occurring since last September in the arena’s governed by Capricorn(see below) and now we will be evaluating that which had transpired from a different angle during this retrograde phase.

Pluto is commonly referred to as the planet of Transformation, Death-Rebirth and Power.

The highest function of Pluto is to empower individuals and societies through bringing to an end that which has become non-productive and toxic, within and without an individual and/or societal structure, purifying the said entity on the deepest level and allowing for new forms to be seeded and birthed free of previous non-beneficial influences.

Transit Pluto square Chiron: A Cosmic Surgeon that Rewards Patients with Liberation Ambrosia

I currently am experiencing my natal Chiron squared by Pluto and I have to say that I absolutely love this transit!

I know that may sound a bit warped if you are not a fan of Pluto and/or if you have previously read other interpretations of this transit and zoomed in on the rage aspect that has been mentioned in some interpretations.

Yet while I do readily admit that I am having occasional moments of rage arising, I am also finding a liberation beginning to occur that I have been unsuccessful in achieving in certain relationship situations, even though I have previously applied every ounce of my knowledge and will-power to the task of resolution.

I am finding that Chiron-Pluto is akin to a post-battle trauma surgeon.

This is the Doctor that steps in when you find that while you have cleaned and dressed your wounds the best you were able to at the time of the ‘battle’, and with the tools you then had available to use, there were wounds from much earlier battles that scarred over before coming to healing due to their being acquired before you later attained a certain level of wisdom and ability to effectively prevent your being wounded on levels so deep as to require this Doctors assistance.

These scarred over wounds are quite elusive, and often are forced back into the realms of the subconscious when they are triggered, for we have become incredibly frustrated after sincere repeated attempts at achieving a healing resolution that never comes to fruition.

Then comes a point that we meet up with Doctor Chiron Pluto and I liken the scenario to this:

Early in life we are subjected to an abundance of messages within our environment that color our perceptions of our world.

Messages can take many forms and are not just shared through verbal communication, such as messages received and recorded, during our visual observance of the actions of others within our lives.

These messages we were subjected to during our formative years directly influence the manner in which we behave and interact with the world for the duration of our adulthood.

Some messages from our childhood serve us well in our later years, while others act as blockages, preventing us from reaching our full potential.

For individuals that were subjected to a high ratio of negative messages in their formative years and early adulthood it can be a long and difficult road to achieving personal well-being and success.

Saturn square Pluto Season: Tips for Maintaining Physical Well-Being

With Saturn square Pluto remaining an influence in our lives through most of this year, we continue to receive stressful energies from this match up that can leave not only our emotional and mental bodies stressed but also our physical body.

When one body of the human system is compromised so are the others to some degree as all three bodies are interrelated.

When we are subjected to longer term frictional transits (those of a square for instance), chronic stressing of the physical body gone unchecked can later lead to dis-ease, sometimes many months or even years after the transit has concluded.

By looking to the physical governorship of the signs and planets within a particular transit we are able to define what area’s of our physical health we should be placing our attention on and practicing preventative care during a frictional transit.

In this post, while I am directly addressing the current square of Saturn in Libra to Pluto in Capricorn, these tips still shall remain of benefit for the entire duration that Saturn and Pluto remain in these signs.

These tips are of special importance for those with natal late mutable/early cardinal placements (as the Saturn/Pluto square places the most focus in these degrees) and also for those with placements in other signs that are/will be receiving a square or oppositional aspect to your natal placement from either Saturn or Pluto during their Libra and Capricorn transits.

Taurus and Leo Ascendants: This is of particular importance to you also as your 6th houses of health are governed by Libra and Capricorn respectively.

***A very dear friend of mine penned the above some time ago and I felt it was perfectly befitting my little tale today. Thank you Janya, for allowing me to share your words of wisdom!


The past few days I have been in the space of a deep clearing of wounds that I had no idea I was carrying until recently.

That is not unusual at all though, especially after you have been on the healing path for a good amount of time, for we clear the ‘knowns’ first, the wounds that are on the surface that can still be seen in some manner, and then we go deeper than.

Deeper Than…I first began to hear those words 2 years ago. Deeper Than.

And I replied, “Yeah, sure, why not? I’m game!”.

That must have been my overly enthusiastic Uranus at work there. ((sardonic smile))

Seriously though, I have no regrets, not in the long run.

I do have my hard days though, just like everyone else, and on those days I can tend to be quite sarcastic, it is my way of keeping myself moving forward and my head above water during the really tough stuff.

As I’ve said a million and one times, and others have too..a sense of humor is mandatory when on the path of Healing.

Before I go into sharing my experiences and my forthcoming understandings of said experiences (that precipitated the title of this post), I’ll share the lowdown on my current astrological transits:

Transit Saturn (responsibility/the past) is on my 3rd/4th house cusp. (local community, brothers&sisters/inner self and more of the past). 🙂

Tr. Saturn is squaring Tr. Pluto whom is now within 3 degree’s of my descendant, so likely now affecting not only my 6th house (service to others, personal health) yet also my 7th house (committed relationships).

Squares are frictional and we all currently have the transit of Saturn sq. Pluto somewhere in our charts, I just happen to have mine as I detailed above.

I also have the coming Full-Moon Lunar Eclipse on New Years Eve conjunct my Ascendant (self)/ Descendant (other), squaring my natal Jupiter/Mercury (higher/expanded understanding) conjunction in Libra (relationships/balance/justice) and this all is forming a loose Grand Cross with my Chiron (healing/wounds) at the top of my chart(sharing my understanding of this wound to heal thyself) .

On the day that this area of self-clearing began for me, transiting Moon triggered the Saturn/Pluto square by forming an inconjunct and trine respectively, when the Moon aspected conjunct my natal Saturn in the 11th house (friendships/groups/hopes).

I’m not sure who I wrote that for, my readers or myself..likely more for myself. (I hope you benefit, but I am determined to do what I have to do here to heal thyself.) ((admitting with no shame))

Though it just made my tummy flip upside down again for the upteenth time this week.

So I am steeping in relationships right now, and issues of responsibility to others, and the need to regenerate in some manner, how I have perceived and/or done, all of this before.

Following is my tale, of uncovering wounds of perceived failure, and the messages I have received, concerning our responsibility to others. I confess the tale is somewhat long, for I could find no way to shorten it and still get my point across..so you may wish to take out the dog and get another cup of joe before you proceed..you brave, brave Soul. 🙂

Nostalgic to the Core > Natal Moon transited by Uranus, Saturn and Pluto:Daughter’s 22nd Birthday

Today, is my eldest daughter’s birthday.

Today, she is 22.

Yet yesterday she was a defiant teen, and the day before that an awkward pre-teen, and the day before that, it was her first day of kindergarten.

The day previous to that day, she was the toddler with her arms wrapped around my neck, her tiny little face peeking through my hair, as she flirted with whomever was offering her, a much beloved cookie.

Not so many days ago, she was placed upon my breast, this newborn delight of mine, and she smiled up at me with a little pucker of a smile, and I felt a Love and Peace, that is the gift of Motherhood, of which we lack words of enough depth and richness, to even remotely describe this Heavenly Space.

Mother’s reading this, understand this and are in no need of words to describe what this is when holding company with one another, for we feel it and just understand it, this sacred space of a deep, eternal love that we enter into, within these rites of Motherhood.

Yes, I am deeply nostalgic today, and am savoring each and every drop, every single moment of memory, that returns to me this day.

You see, I feel we have these moments, and the whole of these moments, defines the Truth of our existence.

These moments, that define us, are the moments that reside in our Hearts, and are ever present, and ever alive.

I do not believe in living in the past, and yet, I do believe we occasionally need to take a moment, to scan around to be certain, that we have brought forward, all of the really precious wonders, that have brought us to Be, whom we are now.

The moments I carry in my Heart, those shared with both of my daughter’s, and the gift’s they have graced me with, in those shared experiences, are directly responsible for whom I have come to Be, today.

There are many things I intended to write about today.

Yet as soon as I awoke, the myriad of moments that I shared with my daughter, from the first that she entered this world, indeed from the moment I conceived her, continue to drift through my mind and senses.

This nostalgia is likely intensified today as I am currently in a period with heavy transits to my natal Moon (mother,women), with transiting Uranus and Saturn in square, and Pluto in opposition.

So, I thought maybe I’d try something a little different today, and I am going to review my personal chart for what I had transpiring the year I birthed this lovely child of mine.
