Into the Mystic

Our next Full Moon occurs on January 30th, 2010 at 1:18 am EST @ 10°15′ Leo/Aquarius.

Where ever a Full Moon falls in our charts, is where we have the opportunity to become Conscious (Sun) of that which has been Unconscious (Moon), as during a Full Moon the Sun shines directly upon the Moon eliminating all shadows.

Two weeks ago, the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Capricorn brought in some incredibly supportive energies for new beginnings in the area’s of our life related to that New Moon event.

Our New Moons have been occurring in the sign previous to our Full Moons, which has been making for very interesting developments, concerning our intentions set during the New Moon.

This Full Moon carries what began in Capricorn into our Leo/Aquarius area for further development and culmination.

Even though our Full Moons have been occurring in signs after those in which the New Moon occurred, the Sun’s illuminations upon the Moon are completely relevant to that which was started in the previous signs two weeks earlier during the New Moon, and lend us guidance on our next step to achieving that which we intended during the previous New Moon.

The New Moon that occurred two weeks previous brought much to the surface for many and many have been doing a tremendous amount of release work since then.

Now with this Full Moon at 10° Leo, we are beginning to see the results of our intentions and how we did releasing anything that was not in alignment with our new intentions.

If you have taken these past 2 weeks to walk through all that was beginning to develop, and you steered your ship accordingly with courage and trust, this Full Moon should be one of productivity for you.

If you have been trying to avoid seeing the fuller picture that has been developing since the New Moon (either consciously or unconsciously), you shall now find that much more difficult to do as the Sun illuminates that which was previously shadowed by circumstances out of our control or deliberately kept in the dark by our own denial.

Do not be overly concerned though, for whatever you should see now was already there and it is now in your best interest and the exact right time for you to be in awareness of it, therefore, you can handle it!! 😉

Here is how I am interpreting the energies of this Full Moon and my thoughts on how to work with these energies to achieve the best possible outcome.

The Moon is conjunct a retrograde Mars in Leo and is being opposed by the Sun conjunct Venus in Aquarius.

Due to the oppositional nature of Full Moons, the possibility exists of projecting our stuff onto another and believing that another is responsible for that which truly lies within us.

This Full Moon also has Mars and Venus in opposition which raises the possibility of projection taking place within our male/female relationships.

Mars has been in retrograde for some time now though, so the energies of Mars (action, desire,drive, anger, passion, war) have been directed within us so while this does not negate the possibility of our projecting these energies at another, it does imply that if we do so, we will likely be the ‘loser’ in the end.

During a retrograde Mars it is never advisable to ‘go to war’, though if you should be the one that ‘war’ has been declared upon, you still are afforded that which you need to protect yourself and maintain your boundaries.

Leo pertains to creative self-expression and how we utilize that self-expression be it with confidence, love and good-nature or with an inflated ego, selfishness and ill-will.

The house is which we have Leo upon the cusp is where we find our ability to rise above the little ego and selfish desires and take a more royal path and be a leader in some form to others while exhibiting generosity, confidence and strength.

Aquarius pertains to the collective and how we utilize our desire to be part of the collective be it with honesty, originality and good-will or with coldness, detachment and minimal involvement.

The house where we have Aquarius upon the cusp is where we find our ability to bring to the collective freely our unique gifts to benefit the better good of the whole of humanity.

During this Full Moon, the Sun (conjunct Venus) will illuminate our Leo house and affairs, asking us to have a look within our Self (Leo) at how we measure up as a leader.

The best leaders are always those that lead by example so take the time to see what is illuminated within you.

Are your qualities at present the admirable qualities of a Good King that truly cares about the welfare of others and one that you would wish to follow?

Or are your  Leo qualities in need of adjustment for they are more akin to those of a selfish king that puts his desires above the good of his charges and is one that you would not wish to follow?

It takes courage to look at ourselves and honestly assess our qualities, yet if you wish to succeed in this world and be of benefit to your self and others, it must be done.

Remember too, whatever you may find there you are not alone with, for we all carry shadows within us that need to be brought to awareness.

Be brave, and do the work that is being asked of you! 😉

Due to retrograde Mars being conjunct the Moon, and also having the Sun’s illumination upon him as the Mars energies are now directed deeply within us, here’s a tip for one issue you may uncover:

There is a possibility you will now see how you have previously utilized your own personal desires/agendas in the past through some form of leadership actions that you thought were solely for the good of others yet was an action designed to truly only serve your personal interests, even if you were previously unaware of this being so.

Yes, ouch..yet I will readily admit to already going there myself the past days, and while it didn’t feel great nor was pretty, I am happy to now be aware of this so I can correct it and walk a better path for others and myself.

The Aquarian Sun and Venus conjunction will lend you support with warmth and love, so that what you uncover is easily embraced and integrated from out of the shadows and into your Light.

This Full Moon receives favorable aspects from transiting Saturn and Pluto (by trine and sextile), so the support is available for those that have courage to utilize these energies in clearing their self of any outworn belief patterns/modus operandi that prohibits them from being their absolute best at leading by example in their relationships with others (Saturn in Libra) and within larger structures (Pluto in Capricorn).

Step up to the plate and do your work if you uncover anything that needs attention in preparation of bringing forth your unique gifts to the collective and to be the best leader by example you can be when our next New Moon occurs in Aquarius in 2 weeks time!
