Our next New Moon occurs on February 13th, 2010 @ 25°18′ Aquarius, a degree that had been visited by Neptune, Chiron and Jupiter 
triad frequently over the last 10 months.
Since May of 2009 we have been uncovering our wounds of both a personal and collective nature.
Many have come to a conscious understanding that though the peoples of this planet may appear to be different in their suffering due to how it is manifest on the surface we are in fact effected by the same ills and wounds at the root.
Our last Full Moon in Leo encouraged us to have a deeper look at the way we lead others by example, and to adjust our Leo qualities if necessary, to be the best we can be for others and ourselves when called to a role of leadership in any form.
In Aquarius, we are given the opportunity to pour forth our refined and possibly redefined ‘royal’ Leo traits and also that which we have cultivated as our unique creative expression, offering our gifts unto the collective for the well-being of all.
With Neptune and Chiron conjunct this New Moon we are given the opportunity to bring forth a healing balm born of our deepened understanding of the wounds of the collective via our own personal revelations gleaned from examining and working to heal our own wounds.
This Moon offers us a chance to bless others, either through the requesting of the pouring of grace upon those that are ready to be receiving and/or by becoming conscious of any actions we have previously taken that may have prevented us from accepting grace hence adding to the healing of the collective.
This is a time to do our best to release any personal agenda’s that we feel may not be in the best interest of the whole, preparing us for next months Moon events within Pisces, the realm of compassion, mystical belief and completions.
Consider setting your intentions in manner that shall best utilize this New Moon/Neptune/Chiron energy by requesting release from all suffering, be it real or perceived for yourself and others, and for grace to descend and pour forth for the Highest Good of All.

I do think this is a big new moon for forgiveness which is really the ultimate “release from all suffering”, in some ways. Already noticing it happening for me.

Hi Kachina – Don’t know why I hadn’t realized it before, but this article just reminded me that this Aquarius New Moon — being in the same degree as the Jupiter/Neptune/Chiron conjunction that took place back in May 2009 — may be personally significant, since that time period ushered in the symbolic release from what had been a very long, very stressful, karmic journey for me. My elderly mother, who had suffered for many years from the effects of dementia, finally passed away in May of 2009, and I was relieved and grateful for both our sakes.
That time period also coincided with the end of my Chiron return, so I was left feeling a little bruised and vulnerable. As part of my healing process, I’ve found that sharing my experiences has helped me to sort through it; bit by bit, it becomes clearer. Now I’ll look forward to this New Moon (which also trines my Sun/Venus/North Node conjunction) as offering the potential to begin another phase of my healing. Kind of funny that I also just had a progressed New Moon. I think maybe God’s trying to tell me something. Thanks for the great post.

I have been feeling a peace and tremendous opening of Heart the past days that I have not felt in this form of clarity and depth for some time..I believe this Moon is going to be tremendously healing for many of us. It is time..we have released much and persevered through many losses these past years, yet this grace feels quite tangible now and is coming in strong.

Yes much healing going on, finally, in the past year as my aquarian moon is at 20 degrees on the IC..opposite Pluto midheaven….Donna Cunningham refered me to your survivor guilt article as a high level(52 points) Plutonian, which has been a wonderful trigger for a breakthrough versus another breakdown….you are both book marked now!…thanks for healing a portion of this individual in the collective with your words and insights…be in touch in the future I have a feeling,

At 52 points you are indeed a strong Plutonian and Moon/Pluto is quite a challenge, especially on the angles, I sympathize for I have the Moon/Pluto square natal on my Asc/IC and have just had Pluto transiting opposite my Moon these past 6 years.
Good for you for walking through it and finding the strength to breakthrough! That, is being Plutonian in it’s truest form..the rising after meeting a challenge that we never thought in a million years we could survive.
