Into the Mystic

The Sun’s ingress of Cancer, Summer Solstice, occurs on June 21st, 2010 @ 7:29 am EST, 11:29 am UT.

Since Jupiter and Uranus joined in Aries a few short weeks ago the energy has picked up substantially and the hours of the day feel much shorter. Have you felt it too??

Yet while the feeling of time speeding up and the rush-rush of everyday moments has been apparent, at the end of the day it has been difficult to quantify where all of our energy has been utilized, for there hasn’t been a lot manifesting externally to show for all of our busy-busy-business!

Thank goodness Solstice is upon us for with the Summer Solstice we begin to bring form, to bring to substance, that which we sowed at the Spring Equinox.

The Solstice chart this year is one seriously ROCKING chart! 🙂

This chart has the amazing potential to not only continue break up old patterns yet also to firmly anchor and bring very tangible substance to that which we have been diligently working towards these past months (and much longer in some area’s)! The real trick here is going to be in nurturing those manifestations; feeding, watering and pruning these new life forms so that they do not wilt and die-off as quickly as they were born.

My manifestations are only occasionally born in a form that I would say is an exact physical-form manifestation of my seed thought-forms. When I go into the space of intention I carry with me what I believe to be my current needs and desires yet I do not restrict the field of possibility by making narrow intentions that may limit my Greater Self from bringing forth into manifestation that which will help me to achieve my highest potential.

Due to this I am often like a  child on Christmas morning when my manifestations begin to arrive for often what is delivered in a very real form is even better than I could have imagined provided I look at what was delivered from a broad perspective and take the time to see that it truly is what I want and need even if the new delivery doesn’t entirely conform to the preconceived form I had expected it to take.

I like to view my new births/manifestations the same way I viewed the blessings of my children when I birthed them. While you are pregnant you of course have many different idea’s and expectations of what your new blessing will look like, what their personality will be and their demeanor. You muse on what your child will bring into your life; on how you will do this and that with them and how it will be like this and that between you and your child over the duration of your parent-child relationship.

Yet we come to find that although our experience with our children is generally not as contained, controlled, smooth nor orderly as we first thought it would/should be before the arrival of our little bundles of joy we also find that we received something far better than we ever could have imagined and that we likely would never have had the profound enjoyment of experience we did have with our children had they been delivered exactly as-per-ordered by our visualizations and preconceived designs pre-birth. Through the experience of parenthood we come to embrace that often our greatest of miracles, that which truly brings us the most pleasure and yet also our greatest challenges are also those gifts that arrive and don’t exactly resemble nor function as that which we expected/preconceived to appear and preform in a certain manner before we received them. 🙂

My purpose for sharing this analogy is due to my repeatedly seeing others have truly wonderful manifestations arrive and yet due to the package delivered not exactly having the the appearance they were expecting they deny their new birth nurturing and sustenance and allow these potential “miracles” to die-off. When consciously working the field of pure potential through intention and manifestation one must not only have courage, patience and discernment but you must also have trust.

Trust in yourself. Trust that you are solidly on your path because you attend to your inner and outer world regularly. Trust that you are here to have experiences that expand your being into a Being greater than you were before. Trust that you shall never receive  more than you are able to handle. Trust that the only limits we truly have with that which manifests into one’s life are the limits that we ourselves impose.

If you find that which comes to manifest really is not what you desire then adjust it accordingly and if you should decide to terminate a new manifestation than that is entirely your right to do so for it is solely your creation after all. These thoughts I have shared come from my own live-and-learn experiences and are offered as encouragement to first take the time to contemplate the nature and potentials of the arrival before discarding it completely should you have a not-quite-as-expected manifestation arrive.  🙂

Here are the specifics of the Summer Solstice Chart and how I am interpreting this event:

In the solstice chart we not only have the Grand Cross formed by the Sun @ 0° Cancer opposing Pluto in Capricorn and square to Uranus-Jupiter newly in Aries and Saturn in late Virgo but we also have a Kite formation.

The Kite is constituted by the Grand Trine formation of the Sun, Moon, Neptune and Chiron with the Sun in opposition to Pluto whom is sextile both the Moon and Neptune/Chiron.

We also see a Grand Trine formation consisting of Mercury, the Moon, Neptune and Chiron. While the Sun in Cancer and Mercury in Gemini are in a wide out-of-sign conjunction,, this conjunction should not be underestimated due to Mercury being the final dispositor for the Solstice chart and also taking residence in it’s sign of rulership.

Here is what we are looking at with the blending of the Grand Cross, Kite and Grand Trine formations:

The Grand Cross is producing stress catalyzing the need to balance the area’s in our chart where we have late mutable/early cardinal degrees. The Kite places emphasis on the Sun and early Cancer as the space where transformation will be highly focused. Transformation will be catalyzed by the harmony of the Moon, Neptune and Chiron first being drawn to Pluto, the agent for transformation, and then being released and projected from Pluto to the oppositional Sun at 0° Cancer.

With the Grand Trine present between Mercury, Moon and Neptune/Chiron and the Sun in conjunction to Mercury (albeit out of sign and wide) and also Mercury being the final dispositor of the chart we see that there is a platform in place for transformation to occur through profound understandings surfacing that strengthen our Sun and Cancer expressions hence allowing for the attainment of both emotional and spiritual well-being that shall effect the deepest levels of one’s Being and place emphasis upon the further strengthening of the Feminine through a more balanced merging with the Masculine.

The tone for the summer will be one of heightened activity occurring with newly emerged relationships and opportunities being brought more firmly into solid expressions as we continue to bring forth the truest possible form of Self and Self-reflective creations in a refined and focused manner. Authenticity and demonstrating one’s own power/strength through forms that demonstrate the ability to be effective and creative while being able to sustain one’s own initiatives without the need to harness the power of another or control any other to reach one’s objectives will produce solid results. We will also continue to define our center of balance in relation to practicing responsibility while acquiring a new sense of freedom and expansion.

Venus in Leo and Mars in Virgo advise that we should remember to be loyal to whom/that which we hold dear as we forge these new pathways and bring into greater substance our newly birthed initiatives and reminds us of a need to apply our energy through practical, grounded and down-to-earth manners to achieve results.

Certainly another huge step forward in a period of numerous powerful astrological events occurring in a constant flow that is carrying us ever closer to the realization of new ways of Being that is much anticipated and welcomed joyfully by many!
