My daughter Alexandra is celebrating her 19th birthday today. We no longer reside together, so when I shared her gift with her a little early during one of her “pop-in, say hi’s and eat for free’s”, I had not yet purchased a card to go with her gift. She asked me to forgo the card and instead asked for a post that was just hers on her birthday.
So, here you go Ali-Boo…this one is just for you.

All of this week I have been searching for just the right thing to say. At first I thought I would spin a post on your growing stages, like how you liked this or that, how you behaved this way and that etc. Yet nostalgia just wasn’t where I wanted to go.
I thought maybe I’d share my hopes and dreams for you then quickly realized as I rolled that about in my thoughts that the only dreams I have for you is that you fulfill your very own, whatever they should be, if they bring you joy and satisfaction.
I find myself at a loss for words at a time when more than anything I wanted to say something really important to you, something beautiful, something that you would treasure. After all, you showed me how much you love and trust me by requesting that I write a post for you and that was very a big deal to me for when I was your age I would have freaked out at the idea of my parents writing anything public concerning me.
Yet still I can’t seem to hit that Hallmark moment and all that really comes to me over and over is this:
I am amazed by the beauty that you have brought into my life and each and every moment that IΒ think upon you I am amazed by the Beauty that You are in every conceivable sense of the word.

There’s a little something more I’d like to share with you..
I know that you are aware of my love of the Stars…I am absorbed by what I know of them and maybe even more so by what I do not. There are two Stars though that have my favor above all others and one of my best loved Stars is You.
As is true with my astral stars, I am in love with what I know of you, and fascinated by what I do not. I am enthralled by the way you shift and morph right before my eyes as you continuously recreate yourself in any manner that pleases you.
Maybe that is why I never wanted to hope your hopes nor dream your dreams for you, for to do so, would have somehow have lessened the wondrous experience of You and the gift you are in my world.
Thank you for being my daughter, my friend and my teacher.

~ iT made me realise,
that NOT all mother/daughter,
and, daughter/mother relationships,
are just about “the one” writing to “the other one”,
but, in essence, your words,
they reached out, and, touched me very deeply,
and, although, i know, in my wildest 3D dreams,
that my own mother,
would NEVER be able to write this to me,
in a 3D sense, that if,
her higher eXpressions, could write to me,
very likely, the words, you have choosen to eXpress
to your daughter, would be, the words,
she likely would choose,
so, in essence, your sharing was for all
mothers/and, daughters,
it also made me realise,
that when things don’t work out
in 3D, that, we can always reach up,
and, touch into the higher eXpressions of others,
and, in essence, and, within our essences,
we NEVER leave anyone behind
~and, that higher up, WE are ALL one !!!
