The Full Moon in Aries on October 22nd @ 9:36 pm EDT, October 23rd @ 1:36 am UT at 29°33 Aries/Libra is the second of two Full Moons
to occur consecutively within Aries and therefore is a Blue Moon provided one allows for (and I do!) an alternative qualification of a Blue Moon as being two like lunations occurring within the same zodiac sign consecutively in addition to the widely accepted definition of two like lunations occurring within a single calendar month.
This Full Moon @ 30° Aries begins a series of 5 consecutive Full Moons that occur on the last degree of their respective signs. Seen as a degree of transition, the 29th degree represents the end of the matter in relation to the concerns of said sign. When we arrive at this point it is a time of culminating the wisdom and beneficial works from said sign while eliminating anything that is non-beneficial and cannot be carried forward into the next sign for further development. There are often last minute efforts to “complete” something and occasional leaps of faith when one feels a situation is just under the closing bell.
Due to it’s transitional nature, this last degree can also be a space of oscillation, for when a planet resides in this degree there is a revolving door effect. Gravitating between spaces, feeling as if one is neither able to go back nor forward, this effect can be quite stressful if one attempts to find a solution or take an action based upon either/or perceptions. To bridge this transitional space as seamlessly as is possible elimination of either/or thinking and often the Surrender to a “Higher Power/Wisdom” becomes necessary.
I have found within personal experience that another planet that exerts force upon the last degree planet, by aspect, will often determine the direction one takes in regards to the affairs of the house, sign and/or planet on the 29th degree. Sometimes a 29n’er needs a bit of a push. 😉 Just a little tidbit I’m sharing that may assist one’s understanding of circumstances as we move through these next five Full Moons at the end of signs.
These 29th degree lunations offer the opportunity to attain wisdom and completion in some manner in many life area’s yet also may require leaps of faith and points of surrender as well as a healthy measure of self-trust. This will be more evident for those that have placements within a few degree’s of either side of the 29th degree due to these 5 forthcoming Full Moons in aspect to your personal placement in some form.

Also of note at this time is that as of our last New Moon, and this current Full Moon, our New-Full Moon cycles have been brought back into the alignment of the Sun’s degree of the Full Moon occurring in the same sign as the previous New Moon. For the previous 15 months the reverse was true . Those with the Moon as their chart ruler, as well as those who have prominent Cancer/4th house energies, will be likely to notice this rhythmic shifting of the lunation cycle and feel more harmonic with the New-Full Moon cycles than they may have during the previous 15 months.

The past 2 weeks since the Libra New Moon we have been focused upon our intentions revolving around the sustainability of our relationships (thanks to Saturn’s transit of Libra). The ruler of the past New Moon, Venus in residence in Scorpio, quickly turned retrograde after the New Moon. With Venus Rx in Scorpio since just after the last Moon it is likely that everyone has become at least slightly more in-tuned to what they do desire in relationship or possibly what they do not desire courtesy of Scorpio’s prevalent involvement.
Venus Rx has the ability to point out our inner beauty and also our inner warts (bless ’em!). Possibly over the past weeks since Venus turned Rx you have found that what you believed to be of beauty in another, or not so beautiful after all, was really a reflection of yourself. The reverse also could be true and maybe you discovered you were copping an image as your own projection when in fact it was not.
Hopefully you have been noting any observations in these area’s for with this Full Moon the potentials of the previous New Moon in Libra are released and it may just be time for transformational actions. 🙂 Mars(action/will) is strongly positioned and well-supported in Scorpio and is the ruler of this Moon as well as being the dispositor for all planets(less our Piscean Jupiter and Uranus that continue to assist in bringing about conclusions where necessary).

The specifics for the Full Moon @ 30° Aries:
The Sun in Libra applies to a wide conjunction with Venus Rx in Scorpio while separating from conjunction with Mercury, also in Scorpio. The separating conjunction of Mercury and the Sun shows the recent integration of experience and mind and implies that we are now ready to move on to our next steps of making(or acting upon) new plans for new experiences. While the applying conjunction to Venus is wide, it undoubtedly is an influence in our current mindset and experiences as the next 2 weeks of this Full Moon’s culmination unfolds, and we will be likely to apply the information that VenusRx has been supplying us with in any decisions we make.
The Moon in Aries receives the focus of the Sun’s energies in Libra by opposition as well as those of Mercury and VenusRx. Oppositions, as occur at Full Moons, involve relationships and we see that the current conditions of our relations are now being focused upon our Self (Aries) for examination. As stated previously, Mars is ruling this Moon and implies the need for self-actions in some form by what is uncovered during this Full Moon phase. Dependent upon the state of one’s relationships the actions may require yourself, or the other, to adjust in a manner that brings about a better balance and/or harmony.
Pluto and the North Node in Capricorn are coming very close in conjunction and are supportive of the Moon and Sun, by trine and sextile respectively, and encourage us to be mindful that the strength of our foundations are increased when based upon the equal well-being of self and other and that neither should be compromised when in relation.
With Neptune and Chiron closely conjunct, and Jupiter and Uranus still retrograde in the last degree’s of Pisces, we have the continuing theme of wisdom being attainable that aids the healing of any wounds and disillusionment’s as well as the encouragement to seek closure with whatever might be necessary to conclude to allow one to step fully into the new life glimpsed briefly during the past summer when Jupiter and Uranus entered Aries.
Though Mars, the lunation ruler, does not tie in with the Sun and Moon by major aspect he does connect with Neptune-Chiron by square and Jupiter-Uranus by trine. With the square aspect we may see the catalyst for action coming from a need to heal our wounds or perceptions( or a relational other may need to take this action) and/or we may find actions are now necessary to rectify previous illusions or possibly because those illusions do not seem to be rectifiable at all. The trine to Jupiter and Uranus should smooth interactions through bringing any/both parties involved to a level of understanding that allows for an equally beneficial closure and/or adjustment involving scenario’s that needs to come to a solution.

I mentioned earlier my thoughts upon the workings of 29th degree placements and the need to try to maintain a “both” perspective when dealing with their potentials and qualities. I think this is important to keep in mind as we weave through these 29th degree Full Moons over the next months, especially with some of the Moons occurring as Venus Rx continues, and all of them occurring while Saturn continues to bring us relational lessons within Libra. While in practice I have yet to find that I am able to bring every situation I encounter to a level that fulfills the philosophy of “both”, and I am not even sure it is possible to do so within a material plane, I still feel it serves very well in that it allows for the broadest field of potentials for one’s self and is conducive to relational harmony.

The teachings of Robert Wilkinson @ Aquarius Papers(link above) are what introduced me to this reversal of function. I have not done the footwork as of yet to determine for myself if there is a consistent pattern.
Here is an excerpt from a post at Aquarius Papers with a bit more information concerning this phenomena:
Robert Wilkinson: “For astrologers who may be interested, we last had New Moons in the same sign axis as the subsequent Full Moon May 2008 through June 2009. Beginning July 2009 and lasting through September 2010, we have the Sun of the Full Moon in the sign following the Sun of the New Moon.
Another way to look at this is the Sun sign of the Full Moon is the same as and precedes the Sun sign of the next New Moon, reversing the usual way lunations work. So the fulfillment of the Full Moon sets up the next “seed” to be revealed at the next New Moon. We will again have the Sun of the New Moon in the same sign as the Sun in the following Full Moon from October 2010 through May 2012, after which it again reverses function.”

If you believe there is interest from the other party I would state myself. Immense amounts of cosmic focus right now on healthy relationship building. If you can stay clear of attaching an outcome to their response than all the better; you have nothing whatsoever to lose and much to possibly gain! At the very least, when honest with another concerning your feelings for them, you should be gifted with a healthy measure of their respect and a good friendship and that is something one should NEVER pass on. 🙂

I need all of you to put forth revenge energy toward XXXX* of XXXX*. He was a student of mine in English classes. He was protected by the administration to harass me to resignation. He pulled a knife in English class. Two weeks earlier he had
“doored” a student who was basically unpopular and vulnerable. After what happened to me, I felt threatened, and I immediately left this backward and really threatening “town” and resigned from my job. Please focus your negative energies toward this place and XXXX*. May he not enjoy another year of peace.

This site is not a space that supports in any manner “revenge” nor any other behavior that would cause harm to any one or thing.
I welcome your participation here if you choose to consider alternative manners to transcend whatever pain or anger it is that you carry that would have you choosing to seek such measures upon any other. I hope that you will reconsider what you are requesting of others, and what you are seeking to act upon yourself, for our thoughts and deeds do have consequences.
You have said that you no longer reside within this locale where you felt threatened, and I assume this also means you have no more dealings with any one involved in this situation, so why feel the need to do anything now but assess ways you can prevent this from reoccurring in your life and find a release from the pain and anger you are feeling?
I understand quite well when we are hurting that taking the higher road does require a certain measure of strength and character that is not the easiest to maintain when feeling abused yet we all have it in us…if we choose to bless ourselves and those that we feel have caused us harm we always receive support and encouragement from our Source(whatever you conceive that to be).
If nothing I shared here appeals to you then please at least reconsider your requesting of others to aid your cause…that is a weighty cause that will come with a weighty consequence..I will not be so foolish as to pretend that I absolutely know the outcome of such situations yet if you really listen to your inner wisdom I think you will find it does not align with acts of ‘revenge’ nor the requesting of others to participate in such harm upon another.

Yesterday, I took a nap. I was having dreams and then this face looked in a window. It is somebody I do not know. It was all in black and white except for the face in the window. Then I see this light person, the only way I know how to describe it. From the ground up to the heavens this mass of white balls of light person, thing, was walking across the land shooting balls of light everywhere..they burned the ground where they landed. I ran to get some people to see this event taking place..when they came, the figure was already gone..but a massive display of fireworks was going off. It kind of scared me a little when a girl was going to venture off to see if she could find the source of the light.
This caused me to wake up. Then I could see this older man talking to a younger man by my net. (this is what keeps spirits from entering my body I guess) There were light balls after light balls coming towards me and filling my body with these balls of electric/energy. I could feel my body filled with this energy. I still feel it today.
Thank you full moon. lol..Have you any idea what happened to me? Being filled with these balls of bright white energy was not a dream. I was fully awake as the energy kept filling my body.

Sounds as if you lucidly experienced a ‘download’ and/or this was your perception of your accepting to embody more of your Light Body/Higher Self.
Possible interpretation:
“From the ground up to the heavens”: could be the way you perceived the rising of kundalini?
“balls of light everywhere..they burned the ground where they landed.”: the burning away of lower ego forms?
“It kind of scared me a little when a girl was going to venture off to see if she could find the source of the light.” : a ‘girl’..a more “innocent/virginal” aspect of Self? part of you wished to seek the Light(knowledge)..part of you was frightened by what might be “learned”?
Just some thoughts. 🙂

This full moon crosses my Aries N. Node 27 degrees – 3rd house. Of course my life has been this balance between Libra & Aries. Any resources on how to really work with this? I find it such a struggle and seem to go to extremes vs really finding the balance. I also have Jupiter in Leo 29 degrees 7th house opposition my Moon in Aquarius. Needless to say relationships have been a struggle. I actually had a dream last night watching a woman want a man, but every time the man got close she resented it. We were in this house full of quotes on love and relationships. I was the watcher – ever curious of how do you make a relationship work with the balance. Fascinating dream!

NN in Aries 3rd/SN in Libra 9th: Libra 9th is representative of a more advanced understanding of the dynamics of harmonic relationships yet with your SN there you are possibly being encouraged to draw upon those naturally resonant qualities but to now USE them to assert yourself more individually(Aries 3rd) in your relationships without fear of being seen as childish or temperamental.
I also see a need here to learn to express your broader perceptions into a form that is more of a straight shot and less ‘wiffle-waffly’. Maybe others are never really clear on what it is you think or want? Possibly you continue to get sucked into the dogma of others for fear that if you just ‘break it down’ for them(your thoughts) you’ll find yourself standing alone?
Moon opposing Jupiter from 1st to 7th could imply that you tend to seek others that you feel will bring you emotional benefits due to a subconscious belief that you are unable to generate feelings of optimism and well-being on your own. Being that your Jupiter is in Leo it would be likely that the people you seek to fulfill your emotional needs are larger than life in some way and also may tend to generate an immensely creative nature(or a world is my oyster type persona) that you feel compulsively drawn to.
As for relationships being a struggle I believe that most often that comes of our trying to fit another into our preconceived mold, or ourselves into theirs, out of some sort of misguided idea that we have to “make it work”..either because we believe our options to be few or because we believe that if there is mutual attraction then it must be fated..well, or due to a whole lot of reasons but I suppose you catch my drift? 😉
If we could only relax and not try to ‘fit and fix’ everything into a preconceived form I think we’d find our relationships build and dissolve and we wouldn’t suffer so much. Not that I am by any means an expert in this myself..lol…hopefully learning something of value though as I too continue to forge my way through all of my own ‘stuff’.

Thank you thank you! It does make sense. It seems when I do assert myself, I get slapped down. I mean that figuratively. ESPECIALLY with my family and men I have dated. Perhaps the lesson there is not turning into a victim about it and staying strong. Lately, I find myself saying often to my dad, “You can make fun of me, but it doesn’t change how I feel.”
Intense dreams last night. I dreamed I was gazing at the moon. I thought it looked like a lifesaver! 🙂 Then I dreamed I released the e-brake from a BMW and let it drive into the river. The rest of the dream was trying to get somebody to pull it out -to no avail.
